The Pac-King HD 16mm serrated seal sealer hand tool is a purpose-built manual crimping tool designed to secure 16mm serrated PET strapping seals cleanly and consistently on every use. With no batteries, power outlet, or compressed air required, it is ready to work wherever the job takes you - from a fixed packing station to an outdoor loading dock or job site.

Key Features of the Pac-King HD 16mm Serrated Seal Sealer Hand Tool

This 16mm serrated seal sealer is engineered specifically for 16mm serrated PET strapping seals. The jaw geometry is matched to the seal profile, which means the tool closes squarely on the seal and produces a clean, even crimp rather than a distorted or partial one. Key features include:

  • Designed specifically for 16mm serrated PET strapping seals - jaw geometry matched to the seal profile for a precise fit
  • Heavy-duty (HD) construction built to withstand regular, high-volume industrial use
  • Manual hand tool - no batteries, power outlet, or compressed air required
  • Ready to use anywhere: warehouse floor, loading dock, packing station, or on-site in the field
  • Compact form factor that is easy to handle and manoeuvre around awkward or irregular loads
  • Produces a firm, consistent crimp as the serrations bite into the strap surface and lock the joint in place
  • Compatible with 16mm serrated open or closed seals used in standard PET strapping systems
  • No consumables to manage and no charging time between uses

How It Works

A serrated seal sealer works by mechanically deforming the seal around the overlapping ends of PET strapping. When the tool jaws close on the seal, the serrations on the seal's inner surface bite into the strap, locking the joint securely without heat or power. There are no consumables to manage and no charging time between uses - the tool is ready whenever the job requires it. It is important to match your seal width and type to the sealer: using the wrong size will result in a poor crimp and reduced joint strength. This tool is compatible with 16mm serrated open or closed seals used in standard PET strapping systems.

Typical Applications

The Pac-King HD 16mm serrated seal sealer hand tool suits a broad range of industrial and commercial strapping tasks. Common applications include securing timber packs, bundling pipe or extrusions, unitising bricks or pavers, and strapping palletised goods for transport. It is well suited to industries such as timber and building materials, manufacturing, logistics, and agriculture, where PET strapping is used daily and a reliable sealer is essential to keeping workflows moving without downtime.

Who Should Use This Tool

This tool is suited to warehouse staff, dispatch teams, and production line operators who carry out manual strapping as part of their regular routine. Because it requires no batteries or compressed air, it works equally well at a fixed packing station or out on a job site. Its heavy-duty build is intended to withstand the repetitive use that comes with high-volume strapping environments - it is a working tool designed for daily use, not occasional tasks. If you also work with 12mm PET strapping, the Pac-King HD PET Sealer for 12mm is available as an alternative size in the same range. Prices shown include GST where applicable at the current rate.
