The HD tensioner PP PET composite 19mm is a heavy-duty manual strapping tool designed to apply firm, controlled tension to flat package loads in industrial and commercial packing environments. Sold under the model designation HPT-50 and equivalent to the MIP-380 specification, this tensioner accepts polypropylene (PP), polyester (PET), and woven composite strapping in widths from 12mm through to 19mm - making it a practical single-tool solution for operations that work with more than one strap type or width.
The following features make this MIP-380 equivalent tensioner a dependable choice for high-volume manual strapping work:
The HD tensioner PP PET composite 19mm is used across a broad range of industrial packing and dispatch operations. Timber yards and building materials suppliers rely on heavy-duty tensioners in this class to secure dense, heavy loads that require firm, consistent strap tension. Manufacturing facilities bundling metal components, piping, or extrusions commonly use tools of this type. Distribution centres handling palletised cartons, corrugated boxes, or bagged goods benefit from the wide strap-width compatibility, allowing operators to work across multiple pack formats with the same tensioner. Wherever a flat load needs to be strapped firmly using PP, PET, or woven composite strap in the 12-19mm range, this tool is a practical fit.
A tensioner is one component of a complete manual strapping system. It applies tension to the strap around the load, but a separate sealer tool is required to crimp the metal seal and lock the strap in place. When working with 19mm PP strapping, the Pac-King HD PP Sealer for 19mm Seals (Eqv MIP-400-34) is a compatible companion tool designed to pair directly with this tensioner. Matching your tensioner and sealer to the same strap width and material type is the straightforward way to ensure secure, consistent closures on every pack.
The HD tensioner PP PET composite 19mm suits operators who need a single, dependable manual tensioner capable of handling more than one strap material without adjustment complications. If you are unsure whether this tool suits your specific strap type, pack format, or existing strapping system, contact our team before ordering.
