The Pacmasta ribbon wound steel strap dispenser is a purpose-built unit designed to hold and feed ribbon wound steel strapping coils cleanly and consistently during packaging and load-securing operations. If your site uses ribbon wound coils - wound flat in a ribbon-style format rather than rope wound - this is the correct dispenser to keep your strapping workflow running without tangles, snags, or wasted strap.
The Pacmasta ribbon wound steel strap dispenser is used across a broad range of industries that regularly bundle, palletise, or secure heavy loads with steel strapping. Common applications include timber and building materials yards, steel fabrication and distribution, general freight and logistics, agricultural equipment supply, and any operation that relies on steel banding to unitise or stabilise heavy or sharp-edged products. Because ribbon wound coils are a standard format across many sectors, this dispenser suits worksites ranging from small trade operations through to larger distribution centres running continuous strapping workflows. For best results, position the dispenser close to the workpiece so the operator can draw strap with minimal effort and maintain a smooth, efficient strapping rhythm.
It is important to match your dispenser to your coil winding type. Ribbon wound coils lie flat and require a dispenser that supports the coil in the correct orientation to feed strap cleanly. If your site uses rope wound coils instead, the Pacmasta Strap Dispenser for Rope Wound is the appropriate alternative. Selecting the correct dispenser for your coil type prevents feed problems, reduces downtime, and keeps your strapping station running smoothly throughout the working day.
The Pacmasta ribbon wound steel strap dispenser is a straightforward, practical piece of equipment suited to any business that wants to handle steel strapping more efficiently. Pairing it with an appropriate steel tensioner and sealer creates a complete, well-organised strapping station. For worksites that depend on steel strapping day in and day out, a dedicated ribbon wound steel strap dispenser is a sensible addition to the packaging area that reduces both physical effort and lost time.
