The Frimec MK Evo PRO FC combines mechanical refrigeration with free cooling. When outdoor conditions permit, the system uses ambient air to remove heat from the process-water circuit, reducing compressor operation and energy consumption.
How free cooling works
The controller compares outdoor temperature with the required process-water temperature and manages the changeover between the air-to-water heat exchanger and refrigeration circuit. This makes the range especially attractive for continuous processes, cool climates and applications with year-round cooling loads.
