The AXIS SAN-EG Advanced keeps the speed and easy loading of an open-bed workflow but adds an enclosed gantry that shields a much larger area around the cutting head. That extra shielding contains reflections, reduces heat and fume turbulence, and creates a cleaner, more stable cutting environment — the next best thing to a fully enclosed machine, with the loading advantages of an open bed. Power options run up to 12kW.

True proportional gas control
A Fenton proportional control valve gives true proportional control of oxygen, nitrogen and compressed air — not fixed-step control, and not oxygen alone. That makes the SAN-EG well suited to de-filming and cutting Colorbond.
Fully matched BOCHU architecture
BOCHU controller, BOCHU BOCI cutting head and BOCHU servo drives work as one system rather than mixed components bolted together. The control platform includes advanced nesting, automatic geometry clean-up, micro-joint control, dynamic corner slow-down and multi-stage piercing, and the machine arrives pre-loaded with proven cutting parameters for standard materials and thicknesses.
Built properly, built to Australian Standards
- Aviation-grade extruded 6061 aluminium crossbeam, genuine Taiwan JT rack and Taiwan DTX guide rails
- Bed heat-treated, annealed and precision-machined for a stress-free frame that resists twisting over years of use
- Frame plasma cutting, welding, furnace annealing, CNC gantry milling and finishing done in-house
- 24VDC control circuit, correctly sized circuit breakers and fully labelled wiring to Australian Standards
- Safety interlocks on access doors and monitored emergency-stop circuits
- Every machine checked with a laser collimator and laser interferometer before leaving the factory
Installation
The 3kW and 6kW versions ship with plug-and-play electrics — no on-site wiring. The 6kW needs a 63A 3-phase outlet with neutral within 3m of the machine, or it can be wired to an isolator within 3m. Because the machine is wide, a small amount of on-site assembly is needed after container shipping. Lead time is generally 4 to 8 weeks from order if not in stock.
